Built by people who use a screen reader every day

Accessibility Pro is built and tested by two disability entrepreneurs and digital accessibility experts. Both of us rely on a screen reader for our own work, so the barriers the scanner looks for are ones we meet every day. Automated testing reliably covers 30 to 40% of WCAG 2.2; the rest needs people who know what a barrier feels like, which is why every report names what still needs a person.

Founder

On Accessibility Pro: Founded Accessibility Pro, builds the scanner and tests it with the NVDA screen reader he uses for all of his digital work.

Hasan is a Jordanian accessibility specialist, human rights advocate and blind athlete based in Padova, Italy. He creates and supports projects that make digital tools, websites and services usable for everyone, because he sees accessibility as the foundation of equality rather than an afterthought.

He is the founder of All Access World, a global marketplace for assistive technology designed from the ground up for people with disabilities, and has worked with organisations such as UNICEF and the OSCE.

As a blind runner he has competed in more than 40 countries and is training for the 1,500 metres towards the LA 2028 Paralympic Games.

Accessibility specialist

On Accessibility Pro: Builds and tests Accessibility Pro with Hasan, bringing the screen reader testing and audit practice she uses with client teams.

Elena is an accessibility consultant and long-time screen reader user who helps teams make websites, apps and physical spaces accessible. Born blind, she has used screen readers for more than twenty years, so she brings a user’s point of view to every project as well as the standard’s.

She holds a Master’s degree in Law, co-founded a non-profit that helped visually impaired young people build skills for work and everyday life, and worked on employment and social policy during a traineeship at the Council of the European Union. She then earned the IAAP CPACC certification, trained in QA software testing, and spent more than twenty months testing websites and mobile apps in banking, retail, telecommunications and e-commerce before going freelance with Access In Focus. She has been a Professional Member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) since 2023.

She also designs and builds accessible products of her own, including Reysko, a public transit app with audio guidance, and Dine on Tap, an accessible digital menu for restaurants.
